“ First time back since having our baby. We really enjoyed this visit. We had sake and a few appetizers including the wagyu tartare which was a special that evening. We also enjoyed the omakase for two and I opted for beef negima and some wagyu tacos to round out our meal. Amy provided great service. I look forward to our next visit. ”
“ This place is AMAZING! It was all that I was told it would be and more! The staff , super friendly and courteous, the ambiance befitting the scrumptious food and drinks that were served. The crab legs alone, would have cost you more than the cost of the Brunch, and they were unlimited! We celebrated our 42nd anniversary here, and it was one of the most memorable celebrations that we ever had! Our friends and family were so pleased that they returned the following Sunday! Try it! You will find yourself planning to come back, before you ever leave ”
“ Wow, I have had so many experiences before... culinary speaking, none of them have come even remotely close to the experience that chef Jin San has cultivated for me. Couldn't have asked for better. Luv u sm chef xoxo ”
“ Came here for my birthday dinner and wow, so good! Drinks were nice! Every single dish was absolutely amazing! -Tuna Tataki -Tuna crispy rice -Edamame -Cucumber Salad -short rib -Chicken dish (forget the name) -Octopus Can't wait to go back! So yummy! ”
“ I celebrated my birthday here last weekend. I was able to snag a reservation and change it several times online without any issue. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the hostess who was friendly and got us seated quickly. The restaurant itself is a large, elegant space with a lot of natural lighting and views overlooking one of the pools. The buffet has quite a selection of sweet and savory options and is particularly good if you like seafood. Highlights for me were the snow crab legs (which you can get brought directly to your table), the fresh sushi and sashimi, and the waffle/french toast bar. I also enjoyed the dessert bar with the crème brûlée and tres leches as well as the hot bar which had the basic breakfast staples like grits, eggs, and bacon. My one half-complaint is that our server lagged at times when it came to drink refills and had to be asked to bring out a birthday dessert at the end of our meal despite her acknowledging that it was my birthday when I was seated since I indicated that we were celebrating both on my reservation and during arrival. In fairness though, the restaurant was pretty busy, and she had a lot of other tables. For $145 pp not including tip, however, I expect impeccable service. I would absolutely return in the future. ”
“ Service and ambiance were good, but the food and drinks were great! We ordered the seared salmon and crispy rice spicy tuna as apps and both were absolutely delectable. For our main dishes we ordered the spicy salmon maki roll and the yellowtail pepper maki roll; both were fantastic! I also got the spicy scallop hand roll which was phenomenal. For drinks we got the ichigo (delicious), the ni (very good), and the karai (unique and yummy). For dessert we got the matcha milk chocolate cake which exceeded our expectations! Overall, I would return even just for the crispy rice spicy tuna! ”
“ NYE Dinner here at Kuro inside the Hard Rock. We were able to get a reservation for 4 just a few hours before we wanted to eat so that was great. We sat quickly, served quickly and food came out quickly. Everything we had was amazing. Crispy tuna rice has been something I've wanted to try for a while and it met the hype. Our braised short rib was super super tender and the glaze and sauce was perfect. The peppers add some great heat to it as well. Cool vibe overall, good music and people enjoying themselves. ”
“ I made a reservation in advance for Christmas dinner on the 24th. When we got there, we were directed to our table and were immediately served by the helper of the waiter. Our waiter Luiz was super nice and cheerful. Since I have been to this restaurant before, I chose the appetizer "Tuna crispy rice" $20 (delicious, always a great choice) and our drinks were "Sapporo draft beer" $9, "Dom Júlio reposado" $18 and ginger ale $5. We also chose "Wagyu tacos" $18 (it comes with 2, but we asked for 3 and they charged an extra $9 for an oily mini taco) and "Vegetable tempura" $16 (extremely oily, impossible to taste the vegetables with so much fried batter around it). Our main courses took forever to arrive, we chose - Japanese Wagyu meat on hot plate $28 per ounce and minimum 3 ounces. Total $84. The meat is delicious, melts in your mouth but very expensive, not something I would pay for again. - Chicken Amarade $28 (my husband and daughter chose the one which they said was delicious). The atmosphere is calm and quiet and the decor is very pretty. Regardless of the delay for the main dishes, the only thing I don't recommend is the tempura. ”
“ This is a nice Japanese restaurant located in the hard rock Casino next to valet pick up. There are no restrooms inside the restaurant, however, there are some located across the hall in the casino area. We arrived at 10 PM for drinks and dessert. We were able to sit in a comfortable booth by the bar without a reservation. The decorations are eye catching and modern. There's a very romantic vibe with dim lighting. The music was low enough to have a conversation if you want to go for a date. The tuna crispy rice was overcooked in my opinion yet it had great flavor and it wasn't overly spicy. As for desserts, my favorite was the Matcha milk chocolate cake. It was moist, creamy and flavorful. Secondly was the chocolate cake. Tasty but a bit too bitter for my palate, however it paired with ube ice cream if they would've offered that as a standalone dessert, I would've ordered a couple of scoops. I ordered a latte which was very bold and well caffeinated. Exactly what I needed! What made this restaurant stand out to me was the customer service. From the beginning with the hostess, to the bartenders, food runners and servers. They offer top-tier friendly service. I will definitely return and highly recommend checking out Kuro. ”
